Sriram Balu is the visionary founder behind PrimeETF, a platform designed to simplify investing for busy professionals. With a diverse background that spans over two decades, Sriram’s journey from Marine Engineer to Global Sales Head of an international organization showcases his expertise in navigating complex challenges and driving impactful results.
Starting his career as a marine engineer, Sriram quickly rose through the ranks, honing his skills in Marine Technical Services. His hands-on experience across various ship types and his leadership in maintaining high standards for client assets laid the foundation for his strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Transitioning from the maritime industry to the corporate world, Sriram took on a pivotal role as the global sales head at a leading international organization. His ability to build strong relationships, manage client’s requirements, and deliver consistent growth became a hallmark of his career.
In addition to his professional achievements, Sriram is an active investor with a decent understanding of financial markets. He manages a combined portfolio of family and friends, with total Assets under Management (AUM) of $1.2 million as of August 2024. This hands-on experience in investment management inspired the creation of PrimeETF, where Sriram combines his technical expertise and market insights to offer a curated portfolio of algorithm-picked ETFs.
